Job Summary:-
Responsibilities: – The candidate is required to lead ML in one or more projects, be responsible for creating end-to-end pipeline for the models and their delivery/release.

– The candidate is required to understand the product specs in detail and help formulate the corresponding ML problem statements.

– The candidate is required to be hands-on in creating models and maintaining them.

– The candidate is required to lead fellow data scientists, address any concerns or challenges they might have by coordinating with different stakeholders.

– The candidate should have keen interest in bringing regular improvement to the current state of the models, introducing tools that are more efficient and hence, improve the overall efficiency of the team.

– The candidate is required to consult latest research in ML and adapt them to solve one or more complex business use-cases.

Tools/frameworks: – Python (numpy, pandas, opencv) – PyTorch/Tensorflow/MxNet – ONNX – AWS services (EC2, S3, sagemaker, dynamodb, lambda) – Docker

Required Skills: • Experience to lead ML efforts in a project.

• Experience handling a small/mid-sized team of junior/senior data scientists.

• Past experience working in computer vision.

Exposure to satellite/aerial imagery, digital surface and terrain models (DSM, DTM) are to be preferred.

• Clear understanding of deep learning fundamentals including network architectures, training methods, overfitting and regularization in neural networks, batch normalisation and so on.

• Past experience building models for classification, object detection, segmentation usecases.

• Understanding the challenges of deploying deep learning models in production and how to overcome them.

• Good track records in contributing to open-source or Kaggle.

• Proficiency in python.

Prior experience building and distributing python packages are preferred.

• Ability to apply latest research work in the field of deep learning to solve a number of complex problems.

• Expert in at least one of the deep learning frameworks e.
