Your Role and Responsibilities
As Data Science Consultant in Global Business Services of IBM, you will demonstrate expertise in the field for Cognitive Analytics and Data for Financial Services Industry for the India & South Asia Markets.
You will own the responsibility of building and providing Data Science based solutions and insights to business problem statements in Financial Services Industry.
Responsibilities:
Building Data Science Models (for example financial risk , Fraud, Customer acquisition etc) and Optimization solutions for various business value levers of the Financial Services Industry.
Guide new Consultants in the leading the projects as needed
Work with financial institutions and execute proof of concept and conduct client workshops.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5-8 yrs of total experience in IT Consulting
Execution of the Financial Services sector strategy plus participation in the strategy creation for the sector
Demonstrate domain expertise in FSS sector
Ability to establish proven business relationships with clients in FSS Industry
Become a trusted business advisor to clients’ senior management
Proven communicator and has the ability to simplify and explain Data Science concepts and inferences to a wide variety of audience – Business, Technical and Executives.
Proven mastery in advanced mathematics/statistical inference/machine learning methods, theories, and tools to analyze enterprise data.
Hands on experience with building statistical inference models on ML platforms such as SPSS/ SAS/ Python/R
In-depth understanding of Banking Products and performance measures.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Familiarity with Banking Processes and Regulations
