Position Summary:
The Issue Analysis or Root Cause Analysis role is a part of data quality and data governance team.
The analyst will focus is to ensuring data leaving, rule writing is of the highest quality.
Analyst will proactively monitor, measure, analyze, execute, track and report on DQ(data Quality) issues.
The DQA(Data Quality Analyst) will interact with business users to resolve data quality problems using techniques such as root cause analysis as well as collecting user requirements.
Responsibilities will also include peer reviews of rules written by other rule writers, migration of rules from testing to production environments, supporting the rule writing platform, troubleshooting rules and platform issues and enforcing best practices for rule writing and data quality monitoring.
The Data Quality Rule Writer will create and maintain data quality rules using the CCB Data Quality Rules platform.

The Data Quality Rule Writing Team supports several Data Management groups within Consumer and Community Banking to improve data quality.
The Data Quality Rules platform provides the ability to write rules to validate and monitor data completeness, validity, accuracy, consistency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:To be responsible for the tracking and auditing of all data in and out of the business Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or usedUndertake and Conduct Data Quality Management activities such as (but limited to):
o Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems
o Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy
o Determine business impact level for data quality issues
o Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions
o Research and determine scope and complexity of issue so as to identify steps to fix issue
o Develop process improvements to enhance overall data qua
