Role: Data Analytics & Reporting Assistant
Learning Innovation & Standards Team
Main purpose of job:
Sitting within the Learning Innovation & Standards team this role provides support to the Information & Analytics Lead to deliver insights, data and reporting to Learning and the wider business.

The role encompasses understanding the core objectives (OKRs/KPIs), gathering and analysing relevant data points and supporting the production of comprehensive reports/insights.

This role requires someone who can work with speed and accuracy, demonstrating tenacity to drive projects forward to meet tight deadlines.

The ability to apply problem-solving, mathematical and programming skills are key in order to deliver insights back to the business.

Key accountabilities:
Support all day-to-day aspects of learning reporting.

Prepare and combine learning data for various dashboards in PowerBI
Provide support in relation to learning integration requests, ensuring available data sets are fully exploited.

Incorporate new Degreed/Learning Tech functionality in existing/new PowerBI dashboards.

Support LI&S and wider learning with data enquiries and validation of Degreed Data.

Upskill the team, for example in relation to the use of data sets and PowerBI.

Trouble-shoot any reporting issues working with relevant extended team members through to resolution.

Attend and contribute to meetings around technical and data projects or issues, and the wider learning agenda.

Provide expertise and support on all data and reporting projects/requirements.

Experience and qualifications required:
Experience
An experienced data scientist who thinks in a clear and organised manner using data and a mathematical approach.

Ability to understand a problem statement and recommend data points/combinations which could be used to provide insights.

Ability to work under time-pressure, generating accurate analysis and combine them into regular reports.

They would be expected to generate this data from several Learning and HR systems.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills – able to convey analysis and results in a clear and concise way to a non-technical audience, and with conviction to key stakeholders.
