Your Accountabilities
- Engage in one or more areas of modelling and apply to processing challenges using and combining expertise in the areas outlined above.
- Work in partnership with Program Leaders and Line Manager to formulate applied research programs, agree milestones and deliver them on time and in full.
- Embrace new ways of working and promoting a mindset of collaboration.
- Promote the internal dissemination of results and ideas and bank them through the reporting and IP opportunities arising.
- Support democratization of models to ensure the right models are developed to work in practice (suitable for our fast-paced environment) and support the upskilling of the individuals using the models.
Your Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- A University level degree or equivalent in
- either a data science mathematics or statistics discipline with strong demonstration in engineering or physics
- or engineering or physics with strong demonstration of applied data science modelling.
- An ability to
- bring new modelling solutions to problems and grow you own capabilities and skills,
- describe your modelling approaches to practicing engineers and scientists,
- interpret and formulate data modelling strategies which will provide working solutions,
- propose validation studies suitable for R&D, pilot plants or factory,
- overcome practical problems and a commitment to land the deliverables,
- to work effectively across multiple sites and teams.
- Working knowledge of Tableau/Power BI or any other visualization platform preferably Power BI
- Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and Proficient in excel.
- Working knowledge in Python/R
