Job Description
- Identify all available data sources and understands their structure, secures data quality and owns catalogues and lienages
- Collects structured and unstructured information as required
- Classifies data into information assets and data flows for diverse business applications
- Prepares information assets to respond business questions
- Manages the technology required to gather, process, store and publish data to business users and analytical projects
- Design apps and tools to apply data in day to day business activities (pricing and timing tools, client qualification systems, white space analysis, workload management tools, among others)
Qualifications
- Degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuary, economics
- Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- At least 3 years of experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of Data warehousing solutions
- Expertise in data Extraction Transformation and Loading tools and processes (ETL)
- Knowledge of data APIs ( Application Programming Interfaces)
- Dominion of data reporting and visualization platforms (PowerBI, Google Data Studio, Tableau) and DAX language (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Proficient at R, Python, Java, Scala programming languages
- Knowledge of analytical algorithms and their concrete application to solve business questions
