JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a Data Analyst, the candidate should have the ability to analyze, transform and build meaningful reports and visualizations that will help the Management in making business decisions, using BI solutions such as Tableau, Data Studio, etc. Additionally, the Data Analyst will be responsible for writing basic and complex scripts and queries in SQL or other programming languages.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize and maintain related references data tables
• Extract and generate quantitative information from single or multiple tools and database using standard queries
• Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports using data system applications
• Write basic and complex scripts and queries in SQL or other programming languages
• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
• Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, maintenance, data mining, and data cleansing
• Analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
• Translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
• Support business in the day-to-day operations in terms of providing data and information as needed
• Analyze raw data coming from different sources, interpret and identify patterns, propose metrics and KPIs, and build meaningful reports and visualizations that will assist the Management in making business decisions.
• Work closely with the Management Team to understand the business report requirements, both internal and external reports
• Collaborate with each Department to analyze existing data and identify the specific data needed in the development of required business reports. This includes data mining from different sources, data transformation.
• Identify new data collections that will help the business in creating new reports and metrics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of continuous working experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on data mining/data warehousing, reports, and visualization.
• Knowledgeable in database management, data warehousing, and BI solutions.
• Ability to build custom visualizations in Data Studio is an added advantage
• Expert in creating meaningful reports and visualizations.
• With good knowledge of math and statistics.
• Experienced in writing scripts and queries in SQL or other programming languages.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and visualize huge amounts of information
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical thinking in resolving problems and documenting the solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical people.
• Ability to work proactively and independently, and as part of a team, provide support to other team members when required.
• Must have the flexibility to adapt to rotating work shifts, including rendering of overtime when needed.
