Job Description:
The Data Analyst role involves supporting the Vessel Performance & Analytics team
in delivering advanced monitoring and optimization projects for vessel performance.
The candidate will provide data-driven decision support to clients, work closely with
technical teams to develop systems for performance monitoring, and contribute to
the enhancement of in-house analysis methods. Additionally, the candidate will work
with various organizational stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and
execute predictive modeling for product efficiency optimization.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering performance monitoring and optimization projects for
clients.
• Provide analytical, fact-based decision support utilizing advanced data
analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop, implement, and maintain
systems for vessel performance monitoring and optimization.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of in-house data analysis
methods to improve service delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders across the company to leverage data in creating
actionable business solutions.
• Conduct thorough mining and analysis of company data to drive product
efficiency and optimization.
• Evaluate new data sources and data collection techniques for validity and
potential integration into analysis methods.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics,
Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or
matplotlib.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and familiarity with
programming languages like Python or R.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced
environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
• Certification in data analysis or related field (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data
Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate) (preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
(preferred).

Compensation:
• Salary range: 30,000 – 35,000 monthly.
