The JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) Credit Review Group is led by the Global Head of Credit Review, reporting through the General Auditor to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and is further accountable to the Chairman and CEO, senior management, and external regulators.
Credit Review is an independent function that assists the firm in maintaining a focus on safety and soundness through a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating credit portfolio quality and promoting strong credit risk management practices, consistent with approved policies and regulatory guidelines.
Credit Review aligns with the Firm’s lines of businesses and credit policies.
The Consumer Credit Review group is responsible for reviewing the credit processes in retail lending (non-risk graded) portfolios at the firm, as well as various continuous monitoring activities.
The group focuses on Consumer & Community Banking (CCB Auto, Business Banking, Card Services, and Home Lending) and consumer-related portfolios within AWM.
The Wholesale Credit Review group focuses on portfolios within Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), and commercial-oriented portfolios.
The Wholesale Credit Review group perform independent reviews to assess risk grading accuracy and timeliness along with the evaluation of credit decisions, adherence to risk policy, analysis of underwriting standards/practices, and performs ongoing monitoring of asset quality.
Credit Review Support:
Data Analytics & Solutions supports, enables, and solutions the data and analytics needs of Credit Review.
The team collaborates with Credit Review on data acquisition, preparation, wrangling, advanced analytics, presentation, and visualization.
The team engages with the Data Analytics community to collaborate on the advancement of data analytics and to bring the best fit for purpose solutions to Credit Review.
This role will report locally into Audit Director in India and functionally to Audit Manager/Director onshore and will be based in India (open to Mumbai or Bangalore location as required).
