Job Summary:-
The primary function of this role involves using analytics tools & applying machine learning (ML) techniques to both unstructured & structured online data to create actionable insights.

This is a fixed term consultant role for 3 months.

We are only looking for candidates who are available to join on an immediate basis.

Who are we looking for?
Data science professional with proven ability to program in high-level languages – Python & R.

Familiarity with R and statistical packages are preferred
Experience in text mining for social media analytics
Text mining knowledge could be around:
a) Supervised & unsupervised learning models (SVM, Random Forest, NLP techniques like LDA)
b) Natural Language Processing use cases to determine tonality/sentiment/emotion
Statistical knowledge in standard techniques: Logistic Regression, Classification models, Cluster Analysis, Neural Networks, Random Forests, Ensembles, etc.

Experience in implementing gradient boosting frameworks (e.

g.

XGBoost)
Proficiency in reporting & visualizing data using MS apps & tools like Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, other tools like Tableau
Strong communication skills to translate data analytics into actionable insights
Hands on experience with digital data to generate consumer insights are preferred
What you’ll need?
Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science with Modelling/Data Science), preferably with work experience of over 3 years
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-discipline environment
Team player & self-starter with a positive mindset
Problem solving aptitude
