Overview
The Competitive Intelligence Analyst 1 assists with the development of gathering and performing the initial on competitive intelligence information.
What you will be doing
Assist with the win/loss program by requesting scoring information, reviewing materials received, conducting interviews and surveys, and analyzing CRM data for inclusion in the competitive intelligence databases
Compile information for building datasets from qualitative and quantitative sources, in order to transform information into actionable intelligence
Assist with the sourcing, monitoring, and curation information about competitors, customers, and markets to stay on top of industry news, trends, as well as competitor pricing, products and strategies
Contribute to the competitive intelligence internal site and ensure that all information is relevant, updated and accurate
Implement processes, procedures, policies and templates to improve data gathering, analysis and intelligence dissemination
Assist in creating competitive assest including battle cards, internal communications, positioning guides, and more to articulate competitive positioning, messaging and product strategy
Draft monthly bulletins and reports for Sales Management and internal site
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
What will make you successful
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in primary/syndicated research, data analytics, modeling and reporting
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Collaboration skills, applied successfully within team
Facilitation and project management skill
Able to summarize large quantities of information into actionable insight
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
Conceptual knowledge of highly technical products
Up to 20% travel time required
Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $45,000 – $60,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits.
