Primary Skills

What you “must” have:
Associate level Certification on at least one public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with atleast two database projects with largescale customers
Experience with at least one of IaaS cloud providers : AWS, Azure, Google, Softlayer, OpenStack
Experience in Database Administration for MSSQL Server troubleshooting and resolving database problems
Good scripting knowledge in shell scripts
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2003 2008 2012 2014 2016 Administration setup and configuration maintenance and troubleshooting
Always On experience with backups restores and recovery models
Knowledge of High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR options for MSSQL Server
Knowledge of indexes index management and statistics Tools like SQL Diagnostics
Good experience with ReplicaSet and sharing Experience with DB Upgrades Configure and monitor NoSQL DB and Columnar DB instances
Sound knowledge Performance Tuning Query Optimization Client Server Connectivity and Database
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2003 2008 2012 2014 2016 Administration setup and configuration maintenance and troubleshooting
Secondary Skills

Good to have experience with writing stored procedures triggers and events Cloud platforms like AWS and their services for data and analytics
Experience in implementing automation using scripts
Support on NoSQL DB’s and open source DB’s
