Qualifications
Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
Qualifications Required:
Experience developing the requirements for web/mobile/desktop, JavaScript applications
Understanding of how backend data efficiently feeds to front end of web application.
Strong familiarity with data structures (especially health data), and understanding of data flow and formatting.
Understanding of how data translates to data visualizations (what data types and fields are needed to build a new visualization).
Experience in creating data visualizations (e.
q.
ArcGIS, PowerBI, Tableau).
Experience working on complex GIS, geospatial technology, or analytic public health IT projects.
Ability to communicate clearly between data owners, back end developers, and front end developers to ensure team understands data needed to fulfill requirements of a given development story.
Experience producing meaningful project artifacts that adhere to industry or organization-specific guidelines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Attention to detail in performing work is essential.
Experience in epidemiology, data science, or web projects is preferred.
Education: Degree in Public Health, Geographic Information Systems, or related field.
