This organization leads the global standardization, design, development and maintenance of highly complex business rules supporting the Global Services division at American Express.
Searching for an experienced Logic/Rules developer to join our organization and add value on the evolution of our existing capabilities built using WinARES/Java/Drools/ACE/JBPM and other open source technologies.
The Developer will be responsible for global business rules design & development, supporting new projects/strategies and business as usual requests (compliance, regulatory and discretionary changes), business process automation (to drive cost efficiencies), and production system management for the WCC (Worldwide Credit & collections) and POA One Servicing credit application(OSCA) platform.
This role will develop end-to end system workflows as specified by business partners, including business defined rules, for a new WCC POA platform.
The successful candidate will work closely with Global Credit Strategy, Risk Management, Product Owners, Technology, Partner Management and other key stakeholders.
The new platform (OSCA/OSCC) aims to replace existing legacy systems (CSP/WCC), drastically improve our existing Credit collections capabilities, and seamlessly integrate with many SORs.
This role will be responsible for defining and designing business process workflows in the new system as specified by business partners.
Understanding the overall business objectives and translating in to efficient and well-thought-out workflows, business rules, decision tables and decision trees as required.
Responsibilities:
Devote most of the time in business process design & development, including business maintainable rules, for the new platform on ACE framework.
Participate in the tactical replacement of Winares/WCC platform to POA
Design, develop and deploy business rules on the POD platforms (WCC).
Maintain the business processes and business rules as required by Global Credit strategy and Operations as well as Risk Management
