We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Business Analyst – GSC Collections.
Department Overview of Collections
GSC Collections is composed of teams located in different country locations and provides support to multiple markets. It is part of the wider Wealth & Personal Banking business of HSBC and one of the markets it supports is UK. UK teams are one of the largest in GSC Collections and are located in Manila & Hyderabad. Collections teams perform both telephony and back-office processing
What You’ll Do?
The Business Analyst is a specialist role within the Operations Support function of GSC Collections. The jobholder is expected to provide strong support to both Operations and Operations Support through the incumbent’s outstanding skills in data analytics and in understanding business needs and requirements. The incumbent is expected and required to be the team’s data strategist – on top of their other responsibilities, this means that the jobholder shall ensure the complete optimization and maximization of all available data for the benefit of the business & the organization.
The incumbent’s key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Support Collections teams in analyzing business, systems, and data structures
Identify improvement opportunities corollary to the business strategy and priorities
Analyze performance metrics and indicators to identify gaps and its root causes
Engage with various teams at every level in the organization in order to understand specific requirements with regard to the dev
