Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

SQL for Data Prep, Python/R for Machine Learning models, predictive analytics, and diagnostic analytics. Performance outcome can be how good you understand the data, perform Exploratory Data Analysis, Aggregation and cleaning the data for model building. The performance metric of ML model for a particular business problem and how that model/analysis/output is adding value to the business/organization.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

The type of work ranges from Data Exploration to Data Preparation using various statistical techniques such as seeing distribution of data and skewness.

Performing all major EDA tasks such as cleaning the raw data to the useful format ad then finally building the model and evaluating performance metrics for that model.

Presenting the model insights in terms of basic visualization and model explain ability

Deploying the model to the internal platform of VMware-Deep thoughts.

Business understanding is crucial.
