The GCP Engagement Manager is a new role that will work within the Google Cloud Platform Product Management team to drive communities, increase engagement and improve user experience for our Google products and services.

The aim is to remove the barriers to adopting the cloud by improving the ability for people to find information and develop community connections.

Whether someone wants to read documentation, talk to someone, share experiences or follow our processes – we want them to have a great experience.

The GCP Engagement Manager will work to create communities for the major GCP products, developing a roadmap of events such as get-togethers, webinars, presentations and learning opportunities.

They will develop relationships and forums so that users can learn from one another and be empowered.

They will engage with our business lines and users to understand where our documentation and information sources needs to be improved and work internally with our DevOps teams to improve the content and knowledge management processes.

They will communicate improvements and changes that are happening inside HSBC and Google to keep people informed.
