Business Analyst
Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and develop on-going reports.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Develop recommendations regarding data.
- Ability to Analyze, Build and Test in an agile dynamic environment.
- Perform analysis of complex data to support customer requests and management reporting.
- Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Documenting core work related processes.
- Champion and manage initiatives that will improve the quality of our data and/or data processes.
- Do preliminary analysis to determine sources of discrepancies between actual and expected results.
- Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow, and functionality.
- Provide support in testing/validating new changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve data warehouse.
- Handle and track Claims payments and legal expenditure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building customer reports in Excel.
- 2-5+ years performing complex data analysis.
- Experience in Business Intelligence in Underwriting, Claims, Auditing beneficial.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, preferred.
- An open mindset, comfortable with embracing and coping with change.
