What You’ll Do
You will be working with the Data Science Manager to identify areas of opportunity for marketing to have an impact. You will be responsible for improving business intelligence capabilities, including design, development, and testing of core algorithms passionate about data engineering and data mining requirements that will drive decisions across the company.
Responsibilities Include:
l Conduct sophisticated quantitative analysis and statistical machine learning modeling, extract insights from data
l Define new data collection and analysis strategies, identify and interpret patterns and trends in data sets, work with large, sophisticated data to analyze and interpret trends or patterns
l Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and audit data quality
l Use Decision Science approach to bring Analytics to useful Insight
l Demonstrate Statistical techniques and Advanced Analytical tools were vital for solving complex problems.
l Coordinate and present data extracted from disparate tools, applications, and systems
l Generate, update, and maintain reports and data based on business context
l Improve business engagement and operational efficiency.
l See opportunities for innovation and automation of internal processes
l Collaborate with other data insights groups, IT and business intelligence units
Minimum Qualification:
l 10 years’ work experience in IT industry and 8 years of meaningful work experience in machine learning, data analysis or related field. (e.g. data engineering, statistician/data scientist, data analyst).
l Bachelor’s degree
l Advanced SQL skills. Experience with Snowflake warehousing platform.
l Advanced statistical analysis skills and Machine Learning modeling, Deep Learning modeling. Experience with Reinforcement Learning (MDP, Policy Optimization algorithm, Dynamic Programming algorithm) is a plus.
l Advanced ETL skills (e.g. Kettle, MS SSIS, Alteryx, Knime, etc.)
l Advanced data visualization skills (e.g. Tableau, MS SSRS, PowerBI, Domo etc.)
l Experience with programming languages skills (e.g. JavaScript, MS Dot Net, Python, R etc.)
l Experience with marketing and sales systems (e.g. SFDC, Eloqua, Adobe Analytic etc.)
l Ability to work independently, take ownership for own work, prioritize work optimally, and delivers work in a timely manner
l Experience in analyzing and capturing insights from marketing programs and campaigns, or analyzing and capturing insights from sales programs and objectives
l Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets, involving diverse data sets and the provision of reporting, and transform data analytics into business insights.
l Accuracy and attention to detail, high intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new concepts
