Duties Serves as a budget analyst within the program-budget division responsible for the accomplishment of installation level program-budget planning, execution review and analysis functions for a major segment of the installations assigned missions. Actively participates in the formulation and review of the Garrison budget estimates and reporting requirements. Responsible for the final documentation of assigned program segments in the overall budget presentations to higher headquarters. Responsible for execution of program as presented to higher headquarters for all assigned activities. Compile and prepare, or oversee the preparation of, a variety of narrative and statistical budgetary forms, schedules, and reports which address the Garrison’s budget formulation and/or execution process/status. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. This position requires the incumbent obtain and maintain a Level 2 Department of Defense Financial Management (DoD FM) Certification within the first two years of employment into this position. Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
