FocusKPI is looking for a BI Reporting Analyst to work for our client based in San Francisco, CA.
Work Location: Remote, until office reopens. Duration: Contract position with potential for extension or conversion.
Responsibilities:

Work with the product, marketing and operations teams to answer analytical questions for each department
Build business intelligence dashboards for internal leaders and stakeholders to track key performance indicators
Assist Senior Strategy Analysts in project management of strategic initiatives
Fulfill ad hoc data requests from all team members
Create presentations and financial models to communicate new strategic ideas for internal departments
Support the analytic needs of the business by using data from various sources
Own the process of driving core insights from available data and create strategies to measure the success of the project work across the organization
Present analysis & strategies to senior management in verbal & written forms
Conduct competitive analysis to inform decisions & processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Economics or related fields
2+ years of experience with Data Visualization & Storytelling with Tableau
Excellent SQL skills are a must
Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to research, assimilate, and analyze information, compose engaging messages, and present data in a clear and inspiring manner
Experience with descriptive statistics and A/B testing approaches
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Extensive experience querying large, complex data sets & proven ability to derive and present insights from multiple imperfect, varied, and inconsistent data sources using a scientific approach
Preferred: Experience in Product Analytics
