Position Summary:
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer, you will be an integral member of the Data Analytics team responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of internal BI reports, external customer (pharmacy) reports, and interactive analytic dashboards.
This is a technical role that involves developing stored procedures, data integrations, and data visualizations, and automated processes, but also an analytic role that involves understanding the need at hand, what data insights are relevant, and how to tell a data story using visualizations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Participate in business analysis activities to gather reporting and dashboard requirements.
Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
Design and implement an internal reporting toolkit to provide access and insight to our sources of truth; helping leadership answer questions in real-time to make better decisions.
Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.
Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
Provide training and assistance to users for generation of ad-hoc reports.
Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
Technical Skills:
Expertise within business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Looker
Strong communication/interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
Detail-oriented and dedicated to follow through.
