Job Summary:-
Principle Accountabilities:Be an Individual Tester who can test a complex solution and work independently (including ETL, query APIs with containerization deployment)Design and run manual /automated quality test, as well as performance testsReview agile functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables to enable development of good test scenariosIdentify defects and impact on the solutionsDeliver high quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
Collaborate with globally distributed Product Management and Development on Agile teamsFunction as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of softwareFollow process by adhering to documented methodology.
Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defectsShould be able to perform manual testing or create test cases or create automate test scripts depending on the need of the teamExperience in administering, supporting, and maintaining the MSSQL DB (SQL2005/2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019 Administration).
Should have worked in production support environment.
Knowledge on Installations and Migrations, Recovery models, Indexes, Index management, and statistics, Capacity Management Planning, Backup Strategy Planning.
Experience in Troubleshooting and Performance issues, Backups, Restores, Replication configuration.
Handling user permissions and privilegesExperience in HA Configuration (LS, replication, Cluster and Always on availability group).
Creating Maintenance jobs and monitoring logs, Data transfer Service Packaging (DTS) and SSIS.
Experience in “Always On” feature in SQL 2012/2014/2016
