Position Summary
Provides input into OEConnection s overall global data acquisition strategy and is responsible for strategy execution in the following data domains: Parts Catalog, Dealer Parts Inventory and Parts Pricing/Reference Data.
Leads and motivates members of the Data Services team to ensure OEConnection is receiving the most reliable data available to support products and services.
Establishes and executes OEConnection s data management function in relation to data domains.
Leads vendor management strategic and administrative activities related to the companys partners, customers, and the organization.
Job DutiesLeads, motivates and manages members of the Data Services team which includes training and developing staff, capacity planning, setting objectives and priorities, and managing partner relationships (including customer, vendor and product calls and emails) for team members.
Defines and executes strategy for data stewardship, governance, quality and cataloging across those data domains.
Leads team to augment gaps in data by performing data analysis to understand data advantages/limitations.
Creates advisory strategies to educate OEConnection product teams and management so that data analysis becomes a useful tool to better position the companys products/services.
Assists in the creation and management of day-to-day operations for catalog authoring, editing, and augmentation.
Participates in strategy formulation and leads team to execute on strategies for data acquisition (catalog, parts, inventory and dealers) in new markets across the globe.
Provides solutions for system issues based on specific and complex client/product requirements.
