DESCRIPTION
We are looking for highly motivated quantitative strategists for our research strat team.
The individual will work closely with a team of fixed income research strategists to help expand our analytics toolkit, analyze data sets to identify trends and patterns and apply statistical and machine learning techniques to produce cutting edge insights for Research publication.
ResponsibilitiesWork with Research Analysts to develop, institute, and maintain automated data processesWork with technologists to enhance data infrastructure for ETL & automationCreate scalable Python libraries for department-wide useAcquire, clean, maintain, and analyze data sets to support Analyst modelsWe are looking for highly-capable Python coders who can develop, automate, & scale processes to support the creation of Analyst models & differentiated Research reports.
The individual should be capable in both data analysis and data engineering, and will be responsible for the technology behind recurring data processes & model implementation
ORGANIZATIONQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology, engineering, or related fields3-5 years of experience in a Python-heavy developer roleExperience cleaning data using the Pandas and NumPy packagesExperience in ETL as a data engineerComfort with Unix & GitStrong quality-control ethic, including experience deploying QA methodsExperience working with big data and optimization techniquesExperience with building visualization platforms is a plus (e.
