The Data Quality Testing Analyst is primarily responsible for developing and executing the Data Quality program under the Risk Management Department at Apple Bank.
The incumbent will act as the point person for the development and ongoing execution of the data quality testing program against the Banks enterprise data warehouse and other key data sources using Structured Query Language (SQL) and modern data governance tools (Collibra data catalog and Precisely data quality platform).
The Analyst will act as a part of the Data Quality team within Risk Management and in the immediate term, the will focus on Financial Crimes Compliance data quality testing and ensure ongoing compliance with BSA Part 504, which involves SQL based data quality testing, profiling, and reporting in partnership with the business.
In the longer term, the successful candidate will be tasked with building out the Data Quality testing framework and rule logic across the Bank which includes developing and executing data quality tests and validations across key data domains leveraging a new enterprise data warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of the Banks data quality testing framework.
Design and execute advanced SQL scripts for Data Quality testing.
Execute upon the Bank wide data governance road map.
Support the management of the data quality issue remediation program; identify problems with data quality by running regular checks, troubleshoot root cause of data quality issues as they arise, and work with technology and business partners to remediate.
Identify areas for data quality improvements and assist with resolution of data quality problems.
Work with Assistant Vice President of Data Quality to implement standardized and centralized data governance, as well as other data analytics activities.
Drive the successful implementation of the Banks new state of the art Data Catalog and Data Quality tool set.
