JOB PURPOSE

To lead the strategic development and optimization of analytics platforms within the Global Quality Supply Chain, delivering robust, scalable, and insight-driven solutions that elevate product quality and consumer satisfaction. This role blends deep technical expertise in data science, machine learning, and Power BI visualization with collaborative leadership and cross-functional project management. By translating complex business needs into actionable analytics, ensuring rigorous data governance, and embedding digital capabilities across workflows, the role drives measurable impact and fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making across the Quality organization.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

•           Lead comprehensive data science, predictive analytics, and visualization projects to deliver scalable, evidence-based solutions that enhance Quality and Consume   outcomes.

•           Lead in the partnership with Quality business teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and develop analytics and AI-driven solutions.

•           Design, prototype, and validate AI solutions to provide actionable insights into product performance and quality outcomes.

•           Develop and maintain Quality KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring accurate reporting and insights.

•           Manage Change Requests (CRs) to align with business needs and minimize operational disruptions.

•           Lead in the partnership with global Data & Analytics (D&A) team for seamless data ingestion, validation, and governance.

•           Represent Data Science, Gen AI, and advanced analytics initiatives in governance forums, influencing priorities and adoption at senior levels.

•           Drive large-scale solution adoption through change management, global rollouts, and capability building.

•           Mentor team members, providing technical guidance and promoting best practices in analytics and AI.

•           Ensure effective solution adoption through well-documented code, impactful visualizations, and collaboration.

•           Deliver rapid, ad-hoc insights and analytics to address high-priority business challenges.

•           Promote Quality data capabilities internally and externally through community engagement, blogs, and LinkedIn posts.

SKILLS

•           Advanced proficiency in data science and analytics using Python, SQL, and Excel for complex data manipulation.

•           Solid foundation in machine learning techniques, including classification, regression, clustering, neural networks, and natural language processing.

•           Expertise in designing data models, developing KPIs, and creating interactive dashboards with Power BI.

•           Strong statistical and analytical thinking to validate models and derive actionable insights.

•           Skilled in presenting complex analyses to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.

•           Effective collaboration with internal teams and managing vendor relationships to promote analytics and AI adoption.

•           Provides mentorship and promotes best practices in analytics and AI

•           Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Generative AI principles, functionality, and prospective applications for integration into future frameworks.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in a relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science

• 3+ years of experience delivering data solutions that address complex business challenges.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, and additional analytics and visualization platforms.

• Advanced expertise in analytics practices, including data modelling, KPI development, dashboard creation, and the application of machine learning algorithms to produce actionable insights.

• Experience in implementing ad-hoc and change request management processes to support evolving business requirements.

• Experienced in collaborating with diverse teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver analytics projects successfully.

• Strong track record of presenting analytical findings to senior, non-technical stakeholders and influencing strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.
