Title: Advanced Services Engineer – Data Analyst
Job Overview:
The Advanced Services Specialist is responsible for coordinating the delivery of services and support to the Service Management department, including the delivery of multiple initiatives designed to enhance the services and level of support provided to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities include obtaining customers operational data through various means, analyzing data, identifying problem area, creating reports and presenting them to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a working sheet of open cases per Customer including an updated status for each one.
Status should include next steps towards issue resolution.
Prepare draft weekly communication update for final review and send by Theatre based Service Manager
Work with Business Objects to run reports and prepare material for customer meetings
Work with global Service Manager to run Install-Base reports for the customer using the SM tool processes
Identify any Juniper process deficiencies and recommends how they can be improved in a positive constructive fashion
Additional Responsibilities:
Support the building of procedure and structure for the delivery to ensure consistency across theatres
Motivated to develop and learn and to bring innovative ideas into the Advanced Services team
Person Specification/Qualification:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business
Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work as part of a team and independently, with strong organizational skills
Excellent written and good spoken English a prerequisite
Excellent analytical and attention to detail
Established knowledge and experience in data extraction, manipulation, statistical analysis and reporting
Excellent MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
Experience with Business Objects is a real plus
Excel VB script edit is plus
Tableau is a real plus
Python is a real plus
Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Minimum 5 years operational experience in Customer services environment
Strong background in IP or in technology relevant to their engagement in order to discuss and drive technical issues for the Service Manager in an appropriate manner
