About the department
Global IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ.
From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 500+ employees till date.
The main role of Global IT India is to ‘manage’ IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.
Manufacturing IT is the unit which is responsible for more than 60+ global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems.
These systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business ranging from R&D to Product Supply and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc.
The position
The position is anchored in LAB LIMS Systems department within Manufacturing IT India.
LAB LIMS Systems consists of an application portfolio for Quality Control systems, mostly used in the laboratory areas across the globe in various Novo Nordisk PS manufacturing sites.
In LAB LIMS Systems you will be part of a highly engaged team managing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for Product Supply, supporting LIMS system which is core to the laboratory and production processes in Novo Nordisk.
You will be participating in the operation, maintenance and development including system corrections and releases as well as the support process in Agile methodology.
You will be working with a team of colleagues both in Denmark and India, and you will have ample opportunities for professional growth and best practice exchanges in your daily work.
The position holder will be part of LabVantage LV8 senior developer who will be responsible for the overall support and development of the GxP / business critical global LIMS system (Laboratory Information Management System).
As a senior developer you will be technically leading the team of support
