The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that provide a holistic view of our Customers, Strategic KPIs and Operational metrics.

The role will serve as a subject matter expert for data acquisition strategy and automation of data preparation process.

The Data Engineer will be a member of the Global Analytics team within the Customer Experience Function.

Responsibilities:
Design Data Set/Model:
Design data model needed for specific use cases to support analytics / reporting.

Design data acquisition strategy for various source systems.

Design data blending/transformation methodology.

Design methods to leverage data from Data Lake and EDW.

Implement Data Models:
Develop, construct, test and maintain data sets/models.

Automate any manual data preparation process to increase the throughput.

Develop data acquisition routines.

Perform data profiling, support data cleansing, standardization, and harmonization activities.

Build adhoc data models to find hidden patterns and trends.

Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.

Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.

Use large data sets from Data Lake/EDW environments to address business issues.

Participate in technical architecture discussions and provide support to make decisions.

Project Management:
Work concurrently on several projects with specific deliverables that differ from project to project.

Actively participate in walkthrough, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
Coordinate with business users, business analysts, visualization developers to drive project requirements.

Provide work estimate and timeline management
