Primary Responsibilities

• Perform analysis to solve problems; translate problems into data science questions and assist in developing solutions
• Clean, process, prepare, and maintain data sets for analysis and modeling
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify relevant patterns and trends
• Assist in the development, evaluation, validation, and implementation of statistical models and data science methods such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series to provide answers and insights on key strategic questions
• Share and communicate results to audiences of varying technical ability
• Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical needs

Basic Qualifications

• 2-3 years of college-level education in Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related major .
• Currently enrolled in accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Data Science or related major
• Experience with AI/ML.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• Experience working with Python/C++ or R programming languages
• Experience with SciPy stack or Tidyverse packages
• Experience/ knowledge of computer science concepts, data architecture, and experience/knowledge of statistics
• Demonstrated experience using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Experience with visualizing data using popular packages including Tableau, ggplot or Matplotlib
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Aptitude for learning new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems
• Prior SIGINT experience
• Familiarity with geolocation techniques
