SA Data & Analytics within Ericsson Group IT is a key unit supporting Ericsson to become data-driven and empower the workforce to compete on analytics. Our key skill areas and competences are organized in specialized Chapters to keep up with ever changing requirements from skills and methodologies and sharing best practices between colleagues

As a Data Analyst in the SA D&A Data Analyst Chapter you turn data into actionable insights for business value creation and decision making by synthesizing and interpreting complex data using advanced analytics, data modelling and visualization techniques and tools. Provides advise to decision makers in outlining both causes and remedies to business problems.

The data analyst will be developing our data and analytics portfolios towards our internal business stakeholders, be part of supporting our corporate digital transformation engagement projects, work with establishing and building data products as part of our data foundations.

What you will do

Key tasks and responsibilities of a data analyst are in several of the following areas:

• Drive data and analytics requirements:
• Understands the underlying business problem to define the required data and appropriate analysis.
• Provides advise into the structuring of data in data products to meet business requirements, self-service analytics capabilities, and reading of data for AI/ML/automation use-cases, i.e. making data fit for purpose.
• Perform data analytics assignments:
• Works with data architects and engineers to build datasets used for analysis, and identifies based on expertise in the data domain needs for new data objects to improve analytics outcomes
• Performs data modeling and analysis using the applicable statistical model, when required together with data scientists and engineers
• Prototyping and data storyboarding
• Interprets, visualizes and presents results of the data analysis using appropriate techniques to enable concrete insights for business

You will bring

• University degree in Engineering or Business
• +3 years hands-on experience in working with Data & Analytics
• Strong data analytical skills, statistical and data modeling
• Good knowledge of database/data warehouse management, visualization tools and/or programming
• Effective communicator with strong presentation and relationship management skills
• Experiences from specific data domains, around meaning of data and processes is an advantage
• Proficient in English
