We automate the collection, curation, aggregation, analysis & visualization, of billions of data points from thousands of data sources, using domain-specific language processing, ontologies, computer vision, machine learning, network analysis and more.
You are the right person in our team if you:
Have a good understanding and hands-on experience on biological databases and integration
Have good understanding of ontology design, normalisation and implementation including network construction
Can utilize big data, NoSQL databases, data integration, and statistics
Have experience in the use of a high-level programming language such as Python to automate routine tasks and turn them into production quality code, preferably in Linux environment
Are able to understand scientific literature, experimental procedures and their limitations, and current needs of the research community
Have a good understanding of kinetic modelling of metabolic pathways
Should be passionate about the relevant concepts in bioinformatics, data science, AI/ML, biology and drug development.
You have a learning mindset.
Should be comfortable working independently and in a team, and can handle several concurrent, fast-paced projects.
We need you to have:
Masters or Ph.
D.
in Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry/ Computer science or a related field, with at least 2 years of industrial or research experience, capable of executing projects independently
Demonstrated technical expertise in computational pipeline development
Publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals and/or congresses.
Patent filings is a plus.
