The mission of the Data Science team at Mist is to demonstrate state-of-art ML and AI technologies to build the next-generation self-driving network solution, which can take actions on behalf of or together with human specialists to automatically supervise, detect and remediate common network issues.

The team includes a group of experienced and hardworking data scientists and data science engineers, and builds the end-to-end data analytics infrastructure and ML models of the product.

We are looking for a savvy Software / Data Engineer to join our growing data science team.

This position will be responsible for helping extend AI/ML across the Juniper portfolio, building telemetry data collectors to connect Junos, the data pipelines needed for machine learning models, APIs needed for external services.

The ideal candidate will be able to create prototypes quickly, lay the foundation for new solutions and the help move a solution into a production multi-tenant SaaS cloud.

We are looking for a person who enjoys optimizing data systems and building production grade software.
