The Role
The AV Service Portfolio Analyst is responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of clients and stakeholders and helping to determine feasible solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems.
ItÂ’s a rare opportunity to take part in developing strategies and vision to shape AV IT solutions, build AV IT Enterprise Service & Portfolio, and provide direction and guidance on large-scale strategic programs.
Purpose & Accountabilities
Maintain AV Service Portfolio, including:Maintain Service information in ServiceNow (the single trusted repository for ITBM and ITSM information) and ensuring ServiceNow data qualityEffectively engage with IT Managers and Architects, and assure portfolio changes: manage AV step out process, initiate and follow-up on AV enhancements, provide steer and advice to relevant projects, maintain awareness of service deliveryActively drive the harvest agenda by seeking opportunities for portfolio optimization and AV service decommissioningSupport SOM and Architecture to review performance of suppliers and the future engagement strategy; population of supplier scorecards.
Assist Contracting & Procurement with contract and license negotiations for non-strategic suppliers.
Manage a feedback loop capturing user input to be translated into continuous improvement objectives for the AVCoE regarding both AV capabilities and business processes.
Support Data Management by implementing and maintaining catalogue of AV portfolio capabilities
Supports AV Product Development, including:Working with enterprise architects, AV Manufactures, customers, and AV subject matter expertise (SME) to coordinate or lead the high-level activities to update the archetypes, product/solution selections, and new service developmentDevelop and communicate appropriate quality criteria for AV technical solutionsAssure AV projects follows AV handrails and control proceduresEnables successful and secure delivery of AV solutions into the Shell estateConducts AV technical reviews/audits and risk assessments, recommending appropriate action to AV portfolio manager and advisors and seeking guidance from more experienced or specialised practitioners (e.
