Job Summary:-
Job Responsibilities
Complete Computational Plasma modeling of complex semiconductor reactor systems
Work with engineers from various Business Units to solve plasma, thermal, chemical reaction and mass transport problems and then proposes appropriate design solutions
Write reports to summarize modeling activity and presents to BU engineers as necessary
Mentor/Assist Design Engineers to solve liquid and gas fluid flow problems
Improve modeling techniques and publish BKMs for Plasma modeling
Research new methods of modeling to understand complex physics and simulate semiconductor process like Atomic layer deposition/Atomic layer etch
Other Job Responsibilities
Drive strategic roadmap for Plasma modeling
Engage with external eco system to develop new methods and process to improve plasma modeling
Minimum Qualifications
M.

Tech/PhD in Plasma Physics wiht 5 to 8 yrs Exp.
Computational Plasma modeling using commercial packages
Expertise in fluid formulation of plasmas
Exposure to Direct Simulation Monte Carlo/Particle-in-cell Monte Carlo (DSMC/PIC-MC) and particle formulation of plasmas
Knowledge of Statistical Mechanics/ Molecular Gas Dynamics, Computational Fluid Mechanics and heat & mass transfer, Plasma physics, Basics of electromagnetics
Engineering judgment and creativity to solve complex problems, validate model accuracy, and determine appropriate actions.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of semiconductor process
Basic knowledge of thin film deposition and etch
