he primary role of Junior Data Analyst will be to carry out a variety of data analytics activities to support internal and external projects, including but not limited to:

• Data engineering: Manage multiple data sources; Gather and parse data, as required; Clean up data, audit data for accuracy, consistency and completeness
• Data analytics: Apply analytics and artificial intelligence techniques (using tool such as but not limited to – Excel, SQL, Python, SAS, R, Matlab, etc.) and extract valuable and actionable insights.
• Data processing and visualization: Summarize insights in a simple yet powerful charts, reports, presentation slides, etc., as required.
• Customer success: Interact with customers to gather information, highlight issues in business processe and share insights on a as required basis; ensure customer achieves the performance goals; understand customer business, key stakeholders at customer end, their key concerns and focus areas and track their business through publically available sources (Social media, website notifications, etc.)
• Service quality assurance: perform audits and ensure adherence to service quality set for different projects at different stages in value delivery.
• Customer on-boarding management: responsible for end-to-end all analytics from the point of pre-sales to getting customer live, and ensuring customer sees value in utilizing our services.
• Project operations: For internal and external client projects, use our proprietary tools for performing data engineering, analytics and visualization activities. Responsible for project deliveries, escalation, continuous improvement, and customer success.

Candidate profile

• Strong decision making skills: able to set goals, handle uncertainty, and take well thought-out and planned decisions – with minimal supervision.
• High problem solving skills: able to logically breakdown problems into incremental milestones, prioritize high impact deliverables first, identify bottlenecks and work around them.
• Self-learner: highly curious, self-starter and can work with minimum supervision and guidance.
• Entrepreneurial mind set with a positive attitude is a must.
• Data handling proficiency: Prior experience with handling large volumes of data using Excel or relational databases, and deriving actionable insights.
• Track record of excellence in academics or non-academic areas, with significant accomplishments.
• Excellent written & oral communication and inter-personal skills, with high degree of comfort working in teams and making teams successful.
• Prior work experience in consumer businesses, such as retail, travel, and hospitality preferred but not necessary.
• BE/Btech,  ME/Mtech in any engineering discipline or Bachelors/Masters degree in Math/Stats or analaytics related subjects; +85% in 10th Board
• 0 – 4 yrs work experience in an anlytics centric role preferred, but not necessary!
