Description:
The Data System Analyst is an integral part of the Application and Data Solutions team at School.

We are looking for a passionate Data System Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

This team member is primarily responsible with the accurate entry of into the applications in use at the school.

Responsibilities
Analyse reporting requirements and design reports accordingly
Produce data reports as assigned in an accurate and timely manner
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
knowledge of data analysis tools – you don’t need to know all of them at entry level, but you should show advanced skills in Excel and the use of at least one relational database
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.

Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

Generating reports from single or multiple systems.

Training end users on new reports and dashboards.

Requirements
