Job Description:

You will be working with Principal Data Scientist as an individual contributor within research & innovation group.

You should be proficient in Python (data manipulation, scientific computing, applied statistics, machine learning, and data visualization), in MySQL and NoSQL.

You will work with wide variety of Visible Alpha’s commercial as well as operational datasets on both internal and client-facing projects.

You will partner with stakeholders across the organization, build data
analystics tool for the organization, communicate findings to diverse audiances.

You will work on all parts of data science workflow; exploratory analysis of new datasets, create/monitor KPIs and build dashboards for the organization, build predictive models and work with
engineers for deployment.

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a data science/analytics/engineering team, working on an end- to-end data project with deliverables.

Communication skills, experience presenting findings to non-technical audiences.

Familiary with financial datasets, equities market, fundamental research.

Advanced degree in a computational field and/or independent research experience as a data scientist preferred.
