Responsibilities

  • Partner with several of our internal data and analytics teams to develop and operationalize a business intelligence framework that enables fact-based decision making, analysis and insight generation for the business.
  • Own end-to-end analytics workflow, including defining success, generating insights and hypotheses, performance metrics, socializing them across the organization, and creating actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Develop effective and insightful data visualizations and reports, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Drive project success though disciplined agile methodologies and strong planning/communication
  • Work with a diverse set of business data domains to design and build data solutions for analytics and business data users
  • Build and maintain complex data integrations for internal and external data, and maintain the data domain metadata and data catalog
  • Create and review technical and user-focused documentation for data solutions (data models, data dictionaries, business glossaries, process and data flows, architecture diagrams, user guides, etc.)
  • Design and execute strategies for real-time data analysis and decisioning.

Qualifications

  • Passion and drive to disrupt the lending and financial industry for the better
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytically driven role (in analytics, data science, finance, or related fields)
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functionally, driving effective communication to technical and non-technical leaders.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or experience with Python and an ability to think in systems.
  • Experience working with Cloud Datawarehouse technologies and cloud platforms like AWS
  • Passionate about delivering code via CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent data story-telling abilities and experience with data visualization and BI tools (Birst, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Sufficient laziness to want to automate everything.
