What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated – Transport Data & Freight Pay Manager,  to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the analysis & maintenance of transport data and managing freight payment processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret transport data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into transport operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making.

 

  • Freight Payment Management:
    • Oversee the freight payment process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to carriers and vendors.
    • Implement and maintain systems for tracking and auditing freight payments.
    • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to freight payments in a timely manner.

 

  • Freight Master Data Maintenance:
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of freight master data.
    • Regularly update and maintain freight master data in relevant systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data consistency and reliability.

 

  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize transport operations and reduce costs.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

 

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
    • Prepare and present reports on transport data and freight payment activities to senior management.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in international and domestic transportation, logistics, or data management & analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of global trade lanes, Incoterms, and international/ocean freight cost structures.
  • Experience with TMS platforms & integration (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle OTM, CargoWise, Nexusinfo), pricing tools, freight data management and freight procurement & payment processes.
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication & collaboration skills (internal & external).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
