Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, mathematics, economics, computer science or related functional area; or equivalent experience

2+ years of demonstrated data analytics experience including experience querying and analyzing operational and/or financial data, generating insights, and communicating those effectively with colleagues and leaders

Experience building data queries using SQL in order to join, filter, cleanse, and aggregate data; understanding of how GUI-driven applications apply SQL concepts to do the same

Experience creating data visualizations/dashboards that highlight trends and patterns with the ability to monitor business performance against KPIs

Experience using data exploration and analysis platforms such as Cognos Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar

Familiarity with data modeling concepts and relational database structures

Ability to analyze and document business requirements, inclusive of needs and expectations

Effective written and verbal communication, presentation, and analytical skills

Expert-level skills in Excel

Experience providing analytical and reporting support

SQL and Salesforce experience
