The BCN plays a critical role in supporting Bain’s case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property.

The Pricing Center of Expertise (COE) sits within the BCN and supports Bain’s pricing work globallly.

POSITION SUMMARY – Analyst – Pricing Center of Expertise (CoE)
Brings to the table strong knowledge and understanding of various technologies and best practices involving advanced analytics, ETL of large data in a productized delivery modelBrings knowledge of pricing product(s) in development of pricing related IP/ tools as well as help in end client deliveryWorks under the guidance of the COE Project Leader or Manager, playing a key role in driving the team’s overall strategy to develop product and capability to serve clientsAbility to handle work streams independently within a case project along with other team members
Responsibilities & Duties:

Core Responsibilities and Duties:
Proactively provide technical inputs to the internal BCN teamsBrainstorming with the Project Leader on various aspects of case work which ranges across multiple workstreams of data operations and product development etc.

Have a good working knowledge across these languages: R, Python, SQL server, SSISIdentify and employ new and relevant data ETL sources,analytical and statistical tools, database management techniques etc.

Ability to drive conversations through analytics, including, but not limited to
Generate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutionsCommunicate data and clearly explain insights and implications for the client to the entire teamEffectively communicate with BCN or Bain case teams as per the needShare learning with new team members especially on technical front
