• Experienced in applying moderate to high complexity data science techniques to large and unstructured data.
• Demonstrated experience in completing data science projects with minimal supervision.
• End to end stakeholder management in terms of translating business needs into data science problem statements and delivering pilots / proof of concept through demos
• End to end delivery of data science projects.
• Experience in coaching more junior staff members

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Apply various techniques to effectively analyse data, build statistical models and design experiments by using large and complex datasets
• Communicate analytical output to stakeholders and other team members.
• Deliver business value by interpreting data (including identification of patterns and trends) to solve data-analytics problems, with minimal supervision of a more senior data scientist.
• Devise and apply models and algorithms to mine large and complex data sets.
• Understands core business and technical strategies and able to apply with end to end project responsibility
• Contributes to team activities within platform
• Mentor couple of junior data scientists in their day to day projects as well as develop them through trainings

Your Skills & Experience-

• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python and/or R and SQL (Hive would be nice).
• Solid understanding on basic ML algorithms at a mathematical (under the hood) level.
• Must have been part of projects building predictive models.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in big data is desirable but not mandatory.
