Job Summary:-
Boeing Defense Space and Security is seeking an Associate Orbit Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining established orbit design and optimization guidelines for a 24×7 operational system.

Candidate will utilize orbital-based analysis tools to meet operational objectives in a small team environment.

Position Responsibilities:
Candidate will support software checkout for accuracy in meeting operational objectives

Candidate must work well in a tight-knit team environment, and have reliable work attendance

Candidate must be capable of real time support with solid skills in orbital operations (orbit determination, attitude estimation, space system visibility with ground, and anomaly resolution)

Ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data; summarize findings: develop conclusions and implement solutions

Consistently and pro-actively works with team members to solve complex problems

Able to problem solve in a clear and concise manner, have strong communication skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Candidate will support software checkout for accuracy in meeting operational objectives

Candidate must work well in a tight-knit team environment, and have reliable work attendance

This is a variable, with a defined rotating shift schedule.

Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.

S.

Citizenship Required).

(A U.

S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Ability to obtain and maintain system operations certification is required.

Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Experience and/or classroom training in orbital mechanics

Experience with any of the following to interpret, analyze, and develop data for support requirements

This position will require working shift work that help cover a 24/7 posture including holidays and weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in satellite/aero
